Quite a fun game that was gifted to me recently. It has all the hallmarks of a classic RTS, fused with an infinite world, resource gathering and crafting. It reminds me a lot of minecraft, with an emphasis on automation.
You are a character that is stranded on an alien world. The aim of the game is to get rescued. To do that you have to build toward end-game content, which requires you to construct assembly lines to create increasingly complex structures. As you can see in the post image, materials are shuttled between stages of the process by conveyors and pulled / pushed into factory buildings using mechanical arms.
As you constuct more things, you produce increasing amounts of pollution. That upsets the aliens which causes them to attack both you and your structures.
I've been working through the campaign mode, learning the basics. My friends want me to join them on their cooperative multiplayer map too.
