Miniature Railway

Yesterday we decided to take the boy out to burn off some energy; the first thing that came to mind was Worden Park. It's not too far away, and is a massive space for him to explore. He loves being outdoors, especially with the relatively pleasant weather we have been having this past week.

We visited the animals currently resident within the walled garden; rabbits, birds and lizards. There is also a greenhouse, with lots of plants for sale, in addition to locally crafted artworks.

The park is the home to a model railway. They are operated by the leyland society of model engineers, and rides are free of charge. He loves his train rides, and I think we got up to four in quick succession.
